Validation and verification is essential for the safe operation of gas transmission and distribution systems. With years of experience in quality testing of gases and gas distribution systems we now offer a comprehensive range of gas testing services to hospitals and industry.


Our gas testers Jamie Clarke, David Jobes, Avril Lagan and Heather Stephenson are on the NHS register of authorised QC (MGPS).

QC MGPS working within the NHS are named on a register maintained by the NHS QC Medical Gas Subgroup on behalf of the NHS Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Committee

Why Stockton Quality Control Laboratory?

Stockton Quality Control Laboratory is an NHS service which is MHRA Inspected. The laboratory provides a range of pharmaceutical testing services including medical gases for which it has its own registered medical gas testing staff. The laboratory has been providing testing services to the NHS and private clients for over 20 years.

Working with clients and local NHS partners, the laboratory has worked on all aspects of medical gas work from emergency out of hours work, new installations, routine testing of air compressors to assistance with developing local medical gas policies.
